Operation Military Care

Operation Military Care (OMC) is a way in which we can show our appreciation to military personnel. Our church will mail a care box to military men or women stationed overseas. (For now, we are limiting this specifically to those out of the country.) Included in each care package will be a New Testament or an appropriate Gospel tract so that we can be intentional in sharing God’s love and grace with these service men and women. Additionally, we’ll include a letter from the church thanking them for their sacrifice and service. OMC Headquarters is located in room 120, near the Fellowship Hall. Forms and additional information may be found in this room.
There are several ways you can be involved
1. Collect various items which can be included in the care boxes and leave those items at the OMC HEADQUARTERS or place the items in the military trunk boxes in hallways around the church. A list of suggestions for this can be found at HEADQUARTERS.
2. Fill out a form, giving the name and information for the military man or woman to whom you wish the care package to be sent.
3. Volunteer to prepare boxes to be mailed.
4. Donate money specifically for OPERATION MILITARY CARE. This money will be used to purchase additional items which may be included in the boxes or for the postage.
Freedom isn't free! Show them you care.
